SAS International

Brand Design / Construction & Built Environment

We gave DC&CO a very tough challenge when it came to working on a long overdue update to a major piece of our customer communications. Throughout the endeavour, they demonstrated patience, integrity, understanding and good humour in equal measure. Their highly professional approach and range of talents helped us surpass even our own ambitions.

Matt Mills

Group Marketing

SAS International is the UK’s premium metal ceilings manufacturer, working with the world’s leading architects to create buildings of distinction. Their products were exceptional. Their brand hadn’t kept pace. DC&CO brought renewed confidence to the business by making the brand as good as the product. We introduced a new naming system and branded their design services as SAS Plus. We also redesigned their catalogue, the main sales tool for architects, from the ground up. Working with leading architects in a workshop to understand how they use it and what they need from it, we elevated the final printed piece to match the quality of SAS International’s products. The cover was perforated, echoing SAS ceiling systems. Index cut-outs made it easy to navigate to the right system quickly. Inside, the catalogue balanced inspiration and technical depth. We used beautiful photography, redrew technical drawings to the standard the brand demanded, and brought in 3D modelling to capture system details. We also created over 50 case study animations, three of which are shown below.

What we did

We conducted a brand audit and competitor audit to establish the strategic foundation, then developed creative concepts and brand identity for SAS International. Our scope covered symbol and icon design, design principles, brand animation, motion design, and print design, supported throughout by brand management to ensure consistent delivery across all touchpoints.

How's your brand?

No pitch. No obligation. Just an honest conversation about your brand.
