London Review of Books is Europe’s leading magazine of books and ideas. No other literary magazine is as widely recognised as the LRB for the quality and breadth of its writing. It’s the perfect magazine for anyone interested in history, politics, literature, philosophy, current affairs and the arts.
The subscriptions and marketing team asked us to design a campaign based on testimonials from Gillian Anderson, Armando Iannucci and Ian Rankin.
We created the ‘Don’t take our word for it’ strapline and our campaign design uses stars in an LRB brand style.
This first campaign uses testimonials from three celebrities and the plan is to give the campaign longevity with new celebrity testimonials or from some of their subscribers.
This adaptable campaign was rolled out across social media channels and across London Underground, raising awareness about London Review of Books and encouraging new subscribers to sign-up.
