In the heart of London, City of Westminster Libraries were well hidden. Using ‘Explore your library’ as our starting point we have brought words and quotes to life in, on and around the libraries. Church Street Library is built on the site of the theatre where Charlie Chaplin first performed. We’ve used a quote from the iconic comedian to connect the library to its history, environs and visitors. We’ve introduced big arrows to the library estate to create drama and help borrowers get around the library easily.
